Oppo made another history! Released a 150w charger that can half charge the battery in 5 minutes.

Oppo’s new 150w SuperVOOC charger makes it seem as if the problem of the phone not having a battery is probably becoming a thing of the past. The company claims that it can charge up to 50 percent of a 4500 mAh battery in just five minutes. However, a full charge can take up to 15 minutes. Gallium nitride was used in the construction to achieve the goal of not increasing the size of the charger. So the charger is only the size of the 65w charger that Oppo had before and The charger weighs 172 grams.

Increases battery life, up to 1600 charge cycles

Many phones lose up to 80% of their battery capacity by the time they reach 500 full recharge. However, the company claims that phones with BHE batteries within the 150w SuperVOOC flash charge they have developed can sustain up to 1600 charge cycles. There are reports that the phone’s battery can be quickly depleted if several fast chargers are used. At the same time, Oppo claims that the battery and quick charger used in their new technology does not reduce battery life but increases it.

240w charging technology

Oppo also introduced the 240w charging technology they are developing at this year’s Mobile World Congress. However, it is not yet clear when the 240 SuperVOOC chargers will be launched. This charger and battery technology take just 9 minutes to charge a 4500 mAh battery from 1 percent to 100 percent! It is manufactured using 24V / 10A technology. Works on USB-Type-C interfaces. The company says it is developing it with extra security. The phone will have 13 temperature protection sensors so that it can prevent any problems due to overheating.

All Chinese companies go for quick charging method

Not only Oppo but other Chinese smartphone makers are also at the forefront of incorporating the Quick Charging method. Shomi’s recently introduced the N11T Pro model has 120w charging. Oppo and OnePlus had earlier launched 80w chargers. It is rumored that the OnePlus 10 Pro from the Oppo family will be one of the first phones to take advantage of the capacity of the new 150w SuperVOOC charger. Oppo’s sub-brand Realme GT2 and GT2 Neo, which were unveiled at the Mobile World Congress, also have this feature.
